State Of Our People: Summer 2023
At the end of June I was able to travel to Atlanta to attend the National Black Radical Organizing Conference. One of the results from the conference is I have been able to hold conversations with other Afrikans around the united snakes to see: where are we, as a People, at right now. We should take a look at the state of our People from time to time and the conference gave me a chance to connect with Afrikans in different regions and get a pulse on our struggles.
On my way to the airport after the conference, I was asked to be a guest on Both Sides Of The Conversation’s Sunday Conversation talk show on the “economic state of Black amerikkka”. It seemed fitting as I was leaving the conference to speak on where Our People are at economically. As I spoke with other Afrikans not as deeply involved in the liberation struggle, I was able to get a fuller picture of where we as a People are at as a whole. as I examine where we are at, my analysis is this: The Black amerikkkans are doing great, but the masses of Afrikans inside this amerikkkan project are poor and suffering simply trying to survive kkkapitalism.
