I have declared war on the rich who prosper on our poverty, the politicians who lie to us with smiling faces, and all the mindless, heartless, robots who protect them and their property.

Assata Shakur

Systemic. Institutional. Structural. These words are often thrown out as buzz words when folx speak about the “issues’’ society faces. These issues are more simply and logically defined as human rights violations. As a human, you have a right to life — that also means having a right to the resources needed to sustain life, if we were to follow that claim to its logical conclusion. Yet, the resources needed to sustain life often come at a steep price, and those who have determined that their profits are more important than the people’s right to live full lives can continually exploit our communities because the system allows and encourages it. From food apartheid to housing and health care, these “issues” are constructed by the ruling class elite; the systems, institutions, and structures that have power in the kkkolony are set on bringing about our extermination. Our genocide is profitable, which is why it is imperative that we end the robbery by the kkkapitalist of our communities — domestically and globally; which can only happen once we shed the kkkolonial ideology of kkkapitalism as a legitimate economic system.
